Responsibilities:
--- Order, review, organize, and summarize medical records, prepare chronologies and timelines, analyze case merit and identify standard of care, causation, and damage issues
--- Research, identify, interview, and communicate with expert witnesses
--- Conduct medical and legal research
--- Draft letters and e-mails
--- Draft pre-suit documents including Notice of Intent, Expert Affidavits, Informal Discovery, Responses to Informal Discovery
--- Draft litigation documents including pleadings, discovery, discovery responses, subpoenas, deposition notices, orders, exhibit lists, expert and witness lists, etc., under the supervision of a lawyer
--- Assist lawyers with preparation for depositions, mediation, and trial
--- Handle all aspects of pre-litigation and litigation files from initial client intake through trial

Qualifications:
--- Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP)
--- Must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certification program such as an associate's degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, bachelor's degree desired
--- Certification from the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA) or National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA)
--- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
--- Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills
--- Proficient with computers, software, and programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), Adobe, Dropbox, etc.
--- Experience with Filevine preferred. Will train
--- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
