As the Electrical Engineer, you will serve an important role in
maintaining and repairing electrical installations as directed by
the Chief Electrical Engineer.
Career snapshot:
* Responsible for the maintenance of various installations,
including, but not limited to, emergency/auxiliary generators,
systems, and switchboards; stabilizers; fire alarm systems,
including fire door control system and fire dampers; watertight
doors control system; side shell doors; water fog system; CO2
system; lifeboats, and rescue boats – electrical installations;
mooring, winches, and anchor winches; deck cranes and lifting
devices, platform lifts (engine / provision / deck store); potable
water treatment system; dumb lifts, earth fault surveillance
system; and camera surveillance system
* Accountable for the maintenance of all electrical items from
galley, sound and light, staterooms, crew cabins, and public areas
up to the Distribution Cabinet, including the distribution
board
